As the largest home improvement and garden centre retailer in the UK, B&Q decided it was important for them to set an example. 

Many retailers run retargeting display campaigns. 

The result is normally harassing and annoying a lot of their customers.  

With over 40,000 products, B&Q wanted to add value to their customers. 

So we helped them set up a retargeting structure that allowed them to know when an ad would help a customer, but importantly when not to serve an ad.

We adapted the creative message, managed how many times we served the ad and when to serve the ad. 

Delivering value to the customer, not spamming them.

The result of the new structure is a reduction in the cost of sale by 90%, whilst increasing the scale of the activity and increasing basket size by 60%
